Here's How It Works

The SPA8000 is a dynamic adapter that will allow up to 8 analog lines with all of the features of a single line ATA. It comes with 8 RJ11 ports and requires only a single Internet feed. In addition, the unit has an RJ21 Amphenol connection that resembles a Centrix plug. This can feed out to a PBX unit so all of the PBX features remain active.

One of the smartest functions of the SPA8000 hosted by VoX is the hunting feature. If a call is being received while someone is already on an active phone line, the system will "hunt" for the next available or routed line so that a phone call is never missed.
